Ready to Retire with TRA workshops are intended for individuals planning to retire at the end of the 2025–2026 school year. Attendees receive customized retirement benefit estimates and learn about the TRA pension. TRA counselors guide members through the retirement application process, answer general questions, and discuss milestones in members’ transition to retirement and beyond. Spouses and significant others are encouraged to attend.
Registration is required. To register for a Ready to Retire session, sign in to your myTRA account and select “Counseling” or call 800-657-3669. Registration ends approximately two weeks prior to each presentation to give TRA employees time to prepare retirement estimates for workshop participants. Once registration fills for a presentation, seats may become available through cancellations up to the registration deadline. Check back or consider signing up for other available presentations.
